Job Summary

The Finance Manager will report to the VP, Corporate Controller and manage the treasury and finance function for Zachry and its operating subsidiaries. The Finance Manager will oversee the Treasury team and work closely with the Corporate and Division Accounting teams to help support the business and financing initiatives of the organization.

Essential Functions

  • Ensures all treasury processes adhere to internal controls and regulatory reporting practices.
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly cash forecast.
  • Facilitates a quarterly briefing covering cash and liquidity matters.
  • Oversees lender relationships and manages debt and lease negotiations.
  • Maintains debt and lease compliance reporting including covenant modeling to ensure leverage ratios and debt service ratios are complying with company and lender requirements.
  • Facilitates regular financial reviews with lenders, as required
  • Monitors equipment lease maturities to enable a timely decision around release/buy options
  • Builds, utilizes, and maintains financial models for existing and future debt facilities.
  • Reviews financial statements and assists with special Accounting/Finance projects requested by management.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of accounting and finance experience, including prior hands-on exposure to debt and lease placement
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience managing employees
  • BSc/BA in Accounting or Finance required
  • MBA preferred but not required
  • CPA preferred but not required
  • Operating knowledge of key controls relevant to Treasury operations, including daily cash reporting and forecasting
  • Operating knowledge of ERP and TMS systems and workflow related to cash and banking transactions
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Organizational and leadership skills
  • Microsoft Office knowledge required
